One of our biggest kitchen challenges was keeping utensils organized during travel days. Our old caddy would constantly fall over in cabinets, and we’d maxed out all our drawers. The solution? Mesh Storage Bags with Velcro 

These ingenious storage bags with Velcro backing have solved our oddball storage needs. We use one inside our pantry door to keep dog treats visible and easily accessible. They’re perfect for storing grocery bags, bathroom oddities, or anything that gets lost in the back of cabinets.

Command Wire Shelves 

For our storage bays, these wire command shelves have been incredible for organizing spray cans and tools. Unlike solid shelves, the wire design allows drainage, which is perfect for wet bays. We’ve had similar ones in our bathroom for almost two years, and they haven’t rusted or budged.

Barry swears by these for any work under the rig or in dark storage bays. The adjustable angle feature makes them so much more convenient than trying to position flashlights. We keep them right by the front door for dog walks, emergency repairs, or any time you need hands-free lighting.

These simple holders have given our long cleaning tools a proper home. Everything has its place in RV life, and everyone should know where things go. We also use one inside our front door for our big umbrella – it’s right there when we need it.

We’ve experimented extensively with fridge organization for travel days. Our current system combines textured shelf liners (applied with a little water for better grip) and museum putty on container bottoms. While we’re still perfecting this system, it’s much better than our previous solutions.

This might be our silliest RV accessory, but it brings so much joy! We put fun shoes on our RV steps – boots, sandals, light-up shoes, monster feet, holiday-themed options. It makes us smile, makes other people smile, and that makes us happy. Sometimes RV life is about the fun little touches! Our steps take Size 6 toddler shoes.

Chair Arm Cup Holder

This over-the-chair-arm holder has been a game-changer for our seating area. It has holes for different sized drinks – coffee cups, cans, and even wine glasses. Since we don’t have a side table next to our couch, this keeps beverages secure and prevents spills. The original one we loved sold out on Amazon, but we found a similar version that holds mugs, cups, and cans (just without the wine glass insert).

Pour-Over Coffee Maker (Collapsible) 

For fellow coffee lovers, this tiny collapsible pour-over has revolutionized our morning routine. At around $6, it’s not quite $25, but it’s worth mentioning. No filters needed, works great for boondocking, and the coffee tastes better than our Keurig. You could even use it in hotel rooms!

This is the larger pour-over version that we use when wanting a whole pot.

Hair/Pet Hair Extractor

This specialized brush has been a lifesaver for cleaning our truck carpets after muddy paws and travel days. It digs deeper than a regular vacuum and gathers all that embedded hair and debris that regular cleaning misses.
